They ate used to manage due date on tasks where the tasks are sequential and have dependencies.
QuickBase has thematic features of Microsoft Projrct.
Example to build a house:
Dig hole
Lay foundation
Build walls
Build roof
Each task can have a dependency that it can't start until one orote previous tasks have been completed.
