Why can't I enter data in this field

Hello,

I have a date field that was created upon an import. Now in the form's and in edit grids I cannot enter a date. Is there a setting I am missing? I can enter info in other fields in the same form that were also created via an import.

Tara,Can you tell us what type of field this is - is it a date field type or a formula date field type?
