I need to update the email associated with this account (for posting in the community) not specifically in our quickbase realm. I went to my profile settings and the only option I have is to change my user name. How do I update the email address?

I came here to sign up for some of the monthly events and discovered the link to the Website is no longer available from here. I am looking at the Events drop down in the header bar, all I see are Empower and Qrew Events. Luckily Ben left a breadcrumb in the calendar comments which I have pasted below.Am I missing something?https://www.quickbase.com/events

I am trying to create a dynamic report that will stay updated with our top 25 clients based on their ACV. I have a checkbox field on each account labeled 'Top 25'. My goal is to have this automatically updated based on each account’s ACV. Ideally this proccess would:  Look at all eligible AccountsRank them by ACV from highest to lowestIdentify only the top 25Check the Top 25 checkbox for those AccountsUncheck Accounts that fall out of the Top 25Recalculate this automatically on a schedule The main issue I'm having is the Search Records step lets me set a record limit of 25 without giving me an option to sort the results by ACV. Because of that, I’m concerned that limiting the search to 25 records would not necessarily return the 25 highest ACV accounts. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

I have a Multi-select Text field on my Projects table called Project Products. A project can have multiple products, for example:Product A; Product B; Product CI’m trying to build a report that groups/counts by each individual product, but when I group by the multi-select field, Quickbase groups by the entire combination of selected values instead. For example, I’m getting groups like:Product A; Product BProduct AProduct B; Product CInstead, I want the report to display:Product A — 2 projectsProduct B — 2 projectsProduct C — 1 projectIs there a way to “explode” or separate the values from a Multi-select Text field so each individual product can be grouped and counted within one report?

I have a pipeline set up to Fetch JSON from a third party application and iterate over JSON records. It returns the results without an issue, however the main data I want to extract from the results is an array that is nested within that results object. My main goal is to iterate through that nested array and create a record for each item in that array. Is that possible?I have tried a few different things without any luck. I don't have a ton of experience with for loops using Webhooks, but that seemed to be the most likely way to do this so I have tried using that without any luck.I can post an example code if necessary. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,I have a sync table to salesforce, and I have another table called projects.I've created a pipeline when the trigger is record added to SF table, then it must create a record into projects table.I tested this in sandbox and it works, but I manually created the record in SF tables (trying to mimic the behavior in live). So, I created another pipeline for "live", but this doesn't trigger. Now I know that sync table doesn't works the same as a normal table, so I need to change the logic of my trigger.SF table refresh the data once every day. I was thinking in add a "schedule", and search when "Creation Date" is the date of "today", like:If CreationDate = today AND flag = unchecked        Create record in projects        flag = CheckEnd ifBut I don't know how accurate this logic is. I want to create a record in project with the new sync data and not with old values.Any suggestion will be appreciated :)

I found this thread from years ago (https://community.quickbase.com/discussions/quickbase-discussions/multi-select-fields-max-100/76382) that demos a really clever method to get around QB's limit of 100 options in a multi-select text field, but I have sort of the opposite issue where I have a multi-select text field that contains a list of all 50 states, and I want users to be able to select potentially up to all 50 options, but currently they're limited to 20. There are a handful of workarounds (breaking the states list into multiple fields, creating 50 individual checkboxes for each state, setting up a sub-table with an embedded grid report on the form where the user would create 1 record/state), but none of those options are nearly as elegant/intuitive/UX friendly as just a single multi-select that lets you pick more than 20 options.Anyone have any ideas? This is for a project where the intended users are external users who have 0 QB experience and would only ever fill out this

I have a new-style form that displays pages as steps. The user clicks the button (Formula URL) under step #3 to add a child record. Once they save that record, they're redirected back to the form, but on step #1. How do I bring the user back to the last step they were on?URLRoot() & "db/" & [_DBID_TABLE_ALIAS_HERE] & "?a=API_GenAddRecordForm&_fid_6=" & URLEncode ([Record ID#])& "&z=" & Rurl()The app uses New Grid Reports. I tried having the user add records in-line, however those rely on lookups to the parent and they won't save, saying that the lookup value is not set.I created a new Formula URL button to redirect back to that specific tab. It works when editing/viewing records but not when adding.URLRoot() & "db/" & [_DBID_TABLE_ALIAS_HERE] & "?a=API_GenAddRecordForm&_fid_6=" & URLEncode ([Record ID#]) & "&NextURL=" & URLEncode(URLRoot() & "db/" & Dbid() & "/form?a=er&rid=" & [Record ID#] & "&

Hi,I'm trying to create a button that will allow users to copy a record but I'm using my own key field so I need to increment that automatically in the process.Context: We have an online form for employees to created 'SDO Requests'. These get transferred from the resulting spreadsheet to a Quickbase 'helper' table where some transformations happen and a new GUID is assigned before a pipeline sends them to the master table. The custom GUID is necessary to weed out duplicate entries on import and transfer.Since these requests involve dates and time periods they sometimes span two pay periods. I'm trying to provide the people that approve and audit the requests an easy way to 'split' a request by making a copy of the original so that they can just edit the end date of the original and start date of the copy (one day I'll dig into how to automate that as well since I have a table of pay periods to reference but I digress).I have no idea if I'm even on the right path here but my thought was

In quickbase, I have a field for user and datetime. There are several project status like pending, submitted, review, approved and denied. Everytime in the status field change I want to record who did the change and date time. I want to use the two buttons. submitted by and submitted datetime field to track the audit history or logs. I did try with a pipeline but there is no data being recorded. Anyone done this before?

Curious to get other's thoughts.  We have not enabled the new Grid Reports in our primary application.  We have one application used by a small group that does have new Grid Reports enabled. This application (with Grid Reports enabled) has summarized data from our primary application.  I was updating the data today and noticed the totals have the comma separator after 4 places.  So, 100000 is displayed as 10,0000.  When last updated, I'm pretty sure the comma separator was after 3 places.I see in the field properties a select of Show separator after 4 places or Show separator after 3 places.  This appears to be a new option with the default of 4 places.  For all the numeric fields, I'll need to manually change to 3 places.I could not find anything in the release notes about this option.  Has anyone seen anything related to this?  Is there any way to change the default to 3 places?  I have a feeling this is going to be overlooked quite a

I am attempting to build an inspection sheet that will state if the dimension entered is within the specified tolerance.  I have attached a screenshot of how I would like it to function, however after a week of reading the community pages. I have had little success in making it operational.Current Setup(see attached): Column #1 (Data Entry-Multi Choice or Numeric).  Column #2 (output based on Column #1, OK/Green, Out of Tolerance/Red) Column#3 (Section view, visual reference only)I have had varied success with Column #2 as Text-Formula or Rich Text Formula using If statements with Greater Than, Less Than, and Equal to statements. ie. it does something but not the desired outcome.Questions:  Is my idea possible? If so, Is Numeric/Multi Choice the correct choice for Column #1? Am I missing a step where I need to change the numeric into text and then apply the formula?Any help or ideas on how to accomplish this would be greatly appreciated.Regards,Landon

I am attempting to store changes from a table to a dedicated "change records" table. There are a handful of specific fields I want to store changes for and I need to store both the new and previous values in these fields. So I have some complex filtering logic that can't be captured in the initial filter. At the same time, the source table can have hundreds or even thousands of records changed simultaneously or near-simultaneously, so I can't be making separate API calls for each change record to be created. And I need to be able to conditionally store a payload if the bulk creation step fails, so that I can rerun it manually/by another scheduled process. The native Bulk Upsert step does not allow for this if I'm not mistaken. For these reasons, I would like to trigger my pipeline off a bulk event, skip the default For pipeline step, and put all my filtering logic within a loop in my jinja expression for my (QB channel) Make Request step. I feel like this should be possible but I'm gett

I have a pipeline which is supposed to update kanban columns. Am doing a search in the first step which has the filters and then a condition to check if a condition is met with the criteria I have set. When I run it I can see the green tick which make me smile but when I go to the kanban report there is nothing happening. The only message being displayed is " Skipped because set values are the same as in source object." I've tried even creating a datetime field to use to update the search and update but nothing works. Any remedy for this?

What's wrong with this query format. I have checked all the values and I should be getting values other than zero.SumValues(GetRecords("{80.EX.'"&[Concate Distance]&"'}and{47.EX.'Shipping'}and {66.XEX.0}",[_DBID_DISTANCES]),66) If I don't have the "and' filters QB gives me the error"Uh-Oh! The way this formula is built will take too long to process. Please try refining your formula."

First let me say that I am new to developing Quickbase apps.  Here is what I am trying to do and where I’m running into issues:My app tracks the entire demand lifecycle from draft/idea to a project.  I have statuses like Draft, In Development, Under Review, and Approved (project pending) or Rejected/Canceled. I have created sections for Intake, Proposal, and Charter. At intake, all new demands have a separate intake form with basic information collected and the status defaults to Draft.Dashboard - When the demand is in Draft status, a “Start Proposal” button should be visible. When that button is clicked, the status is updated to “In Development” and the Proposal Section should appear, other sections should be hidden.  I am trying to accomplish this by using a helper field (checkbox) and Dynamic Form Rules: If Start Proposal? Is checked and Status is “Draft” change value Status to value “In Development”, Change value Start Proposal? to unchecked. The same process app

I have this multiple choice field which I am using as dynamic filter in a summary report but it still doesn't work because when I click it the summary report it spins and then displays empty records and then reloads all the data without filtering. How can I go about it to make a field to use as dynamic filter.

We're building a new app with the "new" form builder for the first time, and seeing an issue with embedded reports.  The default column width on the embedded table reports is partially obscuring the data, and although you can manually expand each column, there doesn't seem to be a way to make those column widths stick.Am I missing something, or is this a deficiency of the new form UI?  We have half a dozen apps using the legacy UI with dozens and dozens of embedded tables, and this has never been a problem.Fwiw, I found the following post describing the same problem on dashboard pages, but this is not a dashboard page.  It's happening on the 'main form' within our tables...  https://community.quickbase.com/discussions/quickbase-discussions/can-you-set-column-widths-for-reports-in-the-new-dashboard-pages/19595Thanks in advance for any insight.

I'm trying to build what I thought would be a simple button for saving the current child record and adding a new one to the same parent record. I'm essentially just trying to duplicate the native Save & New button so I can place it next to the native Save and Close button. Will I need a code page for this?I have programs that have many program charges and the Users want separate buttons for adding additional records and saving the record when done adding multiple charges. FID_6 is the related Program RID in the child table, Program Charges. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

As a solo developer often tasked with taking over ongoing projects in various stages of completion with either poor documentation or none at all, I spend a lot of time comparing copy apps with their originals to find the differences in order to inform how to proceed with a project. Is there a way that I'm missing to not have to do this manually? For even a moderately sized app it is extremely time-consuming to have to check every single field, pipeline, etc in two places to see if they differ.I don't need to see how they differ (manual review for that is reasonable), just whether they do. Essentially just a list of elements modified/created/deleted since the copy app was created is what I'm looking for. Is there a way to obtain this info?

how would i make a fake social security number when the data entry doesn't have it at the time? it would need to lookup in the SSN field for999-99-9999999-99-9998999-99-9997etc.and the next auto entry would be 999-99-9996.I could create a table with all the possible values or maybe there's a formula to use somehow?

I’m setting up a 60-day reminder in Quickbase with additional conditions, but I need the email recipients to vary depending on the value in the “Short Title” field. For example:• If “Short Title” = HYHOPE → users A, B, and C should receive the reminder • If “Short Title” = RTOG 920 → users B, D, and F should receive the reminderThere are many possible “Short Title” values, so creating a separate reminder for each one isn’t realistic or maintainable. Is there a way to dynamically assign reminder recipients based on field values like this without building a separate reminder for each case? (see screenshot).I’m worried this may require using Pipelines. I’ve tried Pipelines before for other things and haven’t been able to get them to work reliably or accurately, so I’m hoping there might be a simpler or native approach within reminders or formulas before going down that route. Or, if Pipelines is the best option here, I’d really appreciate a step-by-step example of how to build i

Trying to get a qr code to print on a 4x6 label and I am using Exact Forms Plus and I have the following formula in my purchase order table under QR Code: "<img src=\"https://quickchart.io/qr?&size=150x150&text=" & URLEncode(URLRoot() & "db/" & Dbid() & "?a=dr&rid=" & [Record ID#]) & "\" />"No matter how I have that formatted it does NOT change the size of the qr code as shown in the attached picture. Using that formula, the qr code does scan to the correct information. I had found a format on one of the help tutorials telling me that I needed to use this code in my template: ~=barcode(f[227],qrcode,150x150)~ When I use that field in my template, it works perfectly and I can get the qr code to resize just the way I need it to at whatever size, BUT The code no longer scans.  It comes up to a google page searching for F(227).

Assuming I have a way to do survey by pushing a button which does a count with a timestamp. I want to get the records list by their attempt time which might be in their chronological order of attempt. The max I do attempt is 3. I understand I can use summary field to get the first and last attempt using the Minimum and Maximum but now the value in the middle is what am struggling to get. Anyone with an idea how to go about it? I will appreciate.

Hello!I've got an API button that when triggered, creates a new record with some preset information pulled in.That all works except in the instances where I need some fields to be blank.I thought I could use an If/Then statement to complete data or stay blank when necessary.  for exp,If( [Renewed Parking rent] >0, [Renewed Parking rent] ), [...] I assumed if I left that as the statement, nothing would happen in the even of a $0 amount. The new record's field would be intentionally blank. Instead strangely, when data should be blank (whether the if/then sample above is blank or null), it populates a crazy amount like $25,000... It's always roughly $2#,###.I've attached some of the screenshots of the data output (currency fields) and formula. The text fields populate correctly if for example, [Renewal OutcomeStorage] (currency) =0 so the output for [Storage] = No (row 32) but [Storage Rent] (currency) should be blank but instead reflects $24,302.00.Any ideas about
