Email Notifications

Hello,

I’ve set up an email notification that includes a form with embedded reports. In those reports, each record shows an edit pencil and a view icon next to the record ID. I’d like to remove those icons from the email notification.

Currently, access to view or edit is controlled by user roles in QuickBase forms.

How can I hide the edit/view options in the embedded reports within the form in the email notifications?

There are a few considerations. Do you want the edit/view removed for all, or only for certain roles? In the email notifications, there is an option to check for permissions. Do you have that enabled or disabled? I think it will control it per the settings you have defined for each role.

Alternatively, you can edit the report settings to disable the edit/view options. You can create a copy of the report for the purpose of the email notification if you need the options visible in some reports but not in the email notifications.
