Hello, I am experiencing problems with form rules not working properly.On the first page of the form, in the Business Information section, I have a section with a field for type of ownership, and then another field for ownership percentages. (See attached Screenshot 1) I have a form rule for the “Type of Ownership” field which is supposed to hide the Ownership Percentages section if that field is blank, and to only display that section if one of the three type of ownership options is selected (Form Rule # 1) (See attached Screenshot 2). Once that ownership type is selected, depending on if it is One Member, Two Members, or Three Members, various fields are to be hidden and values are to be populated/changed in the fields that are then displayed in the Ownership Percentages section (Form Rule #’s: 2, 3, & 4).The way the rules are supposed to work are as follows:• Form Rule # 2: When One Member is selected, display Ownership Percentage 1 field, populate the value of 10
I am building an application that will be used to house business requirements for various outbound call campaigns. One of the aspects of the campaign is a questionnaire that needs to be filled out by the user post-call with the member. Most of the campaigns use the same question/response combinations but there may be times where a response option may change. What is the best way to allow users to choose from pre-configured question/response values (based on historical requirements) but also have the ability to request a change for their purpose?
Hello,I've really been having a lot of problems with this, and I'm hoping you will be able to help.I created a form with 8 pages, to display pages as steps so customers can move from one page to the other after they have completed the current page, but when testing I discovered that an applicant can move from one page to the next without filling in any information in the fields, including fields designated as required fields. To prevent this, I created form rules mandating required fields to be filled in otherwise the all the subsequent pages would be hidden until all of those required fields are no longer blank, but that was not working properly. I previously built this out in the the expression builder, but during Office Hours I was recommended to try doing it in the formula builder, so this is what I now have (see attached Screenshot 1).What I really would like is for the form to prevent an applicant from being able to move from the current page to the next page unless all required
I have a new form that has a signoff section at the bottom. Used for our stores as EOTI. Each store receives a secure link to their record/form. When stores enter a value in one of the signoff fields and hit the tab key or the enter key to move to the next field, the form comes out of edit mode and goes into view mode. Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere? Hoping someone can help!Thank you,Kim

I have a pipeline created to take a file attachment and move it to sharepoint and then update the quickbase record with url link.I'm having a problem trying to get it to delete the file attachment in Quickbase after. What should be in the URL field, name field and value field?
Hey Everyone, I had such a great time last week connecting with you all! Clubhouse work and golf is such a fantastic venue for these meetups, and a special thank you is deserved for Jess and the entire Quandary team for helping make this happen. Where can i get some assistance when working with the University tutorials about Catabay Employee Training? The pipeline for making the courses populate for manager or employee isn't working for me.
I am trying to access the XML API from Excel. If I embed my User Token in the request URL, things work fine: I go to Data -> From Web, paste in my query URL, and after a little drilling down, I got my data.HOWEVER: The spreadsheet that calls the API is to be passed around, and word on the street is that leaving my User Token in a shared document is Not A Great Idea(tm).If I use the query URL without my User Token, I get an authentication window of sorts from Excel, but if I select the Basic tab and enter my credentials, I get a message "We couldn't authenticate with the credentials provided. Please try again".My goal is to have every user enter their own QuickBase credentials when refreshing the data in the spreadsheet. I can't use the QuickBase add-on for Excel, and I can't create a shared account to access the data.Is there a good way to do this? Thanks!
We are adding users to a new app, which is our first one using the new spreadsheet style grid edit. What are best practices, in terms of:backend restrictions to not allow grid edit for users who likely don't need ittraining / instructing frontend users on the new behaviourThanks.
Hi,I've created a pdf which has instructions for user so they can successfully submit the form. Now looking for solution/ideas to include this pdf flyer on the form. Please advise.------------------------------Mrunali Kadam------------------------------
Hello, i want to update my filter query to use a variable for the column number.var text vRef = [ReferenceID]; var text QUERY = "{7.EX.'5'}";vRef is my column number, what is the right way to replace the 7 in my query with vRef?I've tried changing my ReferenceID column to both text and numeric, and have changed vRef to match, but neither seems to work. var number vRef = [ReferenceID]; var text QUERY = "{vRef.EX.'5'}";
In the old form rules, I had the form rule attached below. I want to migrate the old form to a new form. However, QuickBase updated some of the form rules variables for instance one could have a field with a default variable like "has been changed" or "had been changed to" or "has been changed from". In the new form rules this is close to impossible. Anyone who has managed to fix this? I will appreciate.
Does anyone know the correct syntax to set a date field to the current date, in a webhook? I can easily work around by just creating a field with Today() in it, and using that in my webhook, but was trying to learn how to hard code it in my webhook.------------------------------Mike Tamoush------------------------------

The Dallas Qrew launched on Thursday, March 26th at the Workbox Co-working space at American Airlines Arena! We had a great turnout from the Dallas County Qrew, thank you to Stephanie and the team for all attending and bringing your energy to the meetup. We'll have Kat demonstrating what she learned from Taylor's performance enhancer workflow at the April meetup. Unfortunately I had to depart early to account for the long TSA lines so I missed the post meetup eats and drinks. Next meetup will be the same place, same time, Thursday April 23rd at 3pm. Tell your friends! Let's grow this Qrew and make it awesome!

We have a URL button that uses API_editrecord to check mark the completed box on a record. We have an email notification that is triggered when a new record is added to the table. When we reply to the email notification, just within our company emails, I noticed that the reply is triggering the URL button. Does anyone know why this is happening? I've removed the rich text button from the email notification but still trying to figure out why replying to an email acts like clicking a button.
I have Fastfield and Quickbase. I can have a completed FF inspection form show up in the QB table but if I click the eye icon in the table, a blank screen appears. How do I view the completed inspection form in QB if I click the eye instead of a blank screen. The purpose of wanting this... I want my team to be able to view completed inspections in a more user friendly way than using the FF app or Dropbox. They can filter out inspections in an easier way doing things this way (filter by account, account manager, or any data on the completed inspection).
I have a page (not a dashboard) we are using as a homepage for our app and it has just come up that we would like to display a particular report from one of our other apps. I know this is a simple ask to do with a dashboard, but I'm not sure if there's a good way to do it on just a regular page.I am considering rebuilding the page as an actual dashboard at some point, but that is a bigger project and I figured I would ask here in case anyone knows of an easy way to do this in the meantime.I have tinkered around with creating a dashboard showing just my desired report in the source app, then embedding web page in my destination page, but that never seem to work. I also tried creating a code page in my source app and populating it with the iframe embed code QB generates for you when you select the Share icon on a dashboard...<head></head> <body> <iframe width="800" height="500" src="[my app string]?a=showpage&pageIdV2=24b11780-3e68-4fb7-ac1e-c25237440095&em
Hello QB Experts,I’m a Quickbase user, and I’ve noticed that both Quickbase and Pipelines offer somewhat limited programming capabilities.I’m wondering if it’s possible to use Quickbase primarily as a database system (and visualization/application), where I:Export data using PipelinesProcess and analyze the data externally using languages like Python or JavaScript (e.g., using Pandas, NumPy, etc.) with complex programming.Then write the processed data back into Quickbase as records via Pipelines in near real-timeIf this approach is feasible:What platforms or tools would you recommend for handling the external processing?What skills or knowledge should I focus on to implement this effectively?Are there any example apps, tutorials, or Quickbase resources that demonstrate a similar workflow for learning and practice?Thanks in advance!
Curious if there's a better way to do this. Here's an example. I have a table with tens of thousands of records, and each record has a "Date of Work" field that is pulled from a related record. If I want to search for records with that specific "Date of Work", it searches the entire table. Like it pulls in every record and then tries to filter instead of doing a search based on the filter.So, I search for a date where there should be 400 records, I get a message that it found 400 records hundreds of times. If I change it to also search for a Created Date after a certain date to limit the search even more, it only searches the batch after the created date. So in this case I get that message 40 times instead of 100s of times. This seems incredibly inefficient and makes the pipeline take way longer than it needs to. Is there any way to force the search to run against the table and just pull in the results, not a huge batch and then filter from there? I suppose I could manually set up

I had a regular text field. When the text was long, it automatically wrapped. It was a plain text field. I loved that! I created a new table with the exact same table layout--but it no longer wraps! I can extend the field to see it all--but then it's awkwardly long. Or, I reduce the column width and it's cut off. Has QB eliminated the wrap feature for new tables?
