Are you all absolutely out of your damn minds? I mean seriously. Pipelines is absolutely no where NEAR ready for you to kill automations.
I could go into a MILLION reasons why your plan to completely get rid of automations is the dumbest thing I have seen you all ever do (and there have been some doozies), but instead I believe that your customers will do the walking for you. I know of the many apps, for many different companies that I work with, it would be easier to just recreate everything on an entirely new platform than to convert all of the automations to pipelines and then maintain them in pipelines.
Small things that run once every so often do not need a pipeline. It is a pain to have all of your realm's data movements in one big mash, and the visibility/editability to my team is pretty much nill.
I would barely look at pipelines as viable for the market, let alone your platform's sole source of data flow. You need to drastically rethink your direction, and start listening to your customers instead of your dev team.
