After receiving some incredible nominations during the month of February, the 2025 Qrew Legend Award recipient has been narrowed down to four finalists. Thank you to all the nominators!

The 2025 Qrew Legend Finalists are:

BRIANHINSHAW , QuickBaseJunkie , JimHarrison , and AndyKrumrai, congratulations to these nominees on being named finalists, all extraordinary contributors to The Qrew!

Voting will be open from March 3rd through March 14th. Please note this is a change from earlier, we will need an additional week to ensure this award can be presented at Empower in the best way possible!

Votes can be made here!

The winner will be announced on April 1st during our morning keynote at Empower!

I asked for our finalists to tell us a bit about themselves, here's what they shared.

Brian Hinshaw, AT&T

  • I've been a Quickbase builder and admin at AT&T for 5 years
  • Favorite Way to Connect with The Qrew: Qrew Discussions and the Pipelines and Realm Admin Qrew.
  • Something Learned from The Qrew: The value of collaboration and different perspectives coming together to create something stronger than we would achieve alone.

Sharon Faust, aka the Quick Base Junkie

  • I've been using Quickbase since late 2011. Over the past 13+ years, I've watched it evolve with more powerful features to solve complex business problems. As it has grown, it has challenged me to grow with it, learning, adapting, and finding new ways to push its capabilities further.
  • My favorite way to engage with The Qrew is by sharing my knowledge through the Quick Base Junkie website, YouTube videos, cheat sheets, and working 1:1 with consulting & mentoring clients. Helping others unlock "aha" moments and build solutions with confidence is what I ❤️ most.
  • Something The Qrew has taught me is that it isn't always the topic that you expect to learn that gives you the biggest takeaway. Sometimes it can be as simple as seeing how someone else navigates the system or discovering a time-saving tool that makes the biggest impact.

Jim Harrison, Harder Mechanical

  • I have been using Quickbase since 2017
  • My favorite way to engage with others in the Qrew is attending the monthly PDX Qrew meetups. Getting together with other Quickbase Users who are self-starters and eager to learn is inspiring. We talk about our lives with Quickbase in an inviting open environment.
  •  The Qrew has taught me many things and also given me the opportunity to share my Quickbase experience. Most recently Lee Gilmore showed me how to move Pipelines between User accounts and Elena Larabee pointed out including conditional statements in Formula Queries is an excellent way to reduce the load on a table.

Andy Krumrai, Rockwell Automation

  • I was introduced to Low-Code development and Quickbase 7 years ago in 2018.
  • My favorite way to engage with The Qrew is at Empower, can't wait to see everyone in New Orleans! I also enjoy Qrew Meet Up discussions with other customers.
  • The Qrew has taught me that citizen development really does work.

All four of these people are legendary, but which one will be named Qrew Legend at Empower '25?

That's up to you, get your votes in today!
