Welcome Back to Boston!
After an exciting and inspiring week at Empower, I've finally had a chance to catch my breath and start getting excited about our upcoming Qrew Meet-ups! Our next live meeting is on June 17th, and I can't wait to hear about everyone's latest projects, ideas, and discoveries (and maybe show off a little of what I've been working on, too!). Fresh off the momentum of Empower, we'll have plenty to talk about. Liz will take us behind the scenes of how she used AI to build a Code Page, Tyler will share his thoughts on the latest releases, and Karen is excited to give us a look at her new app. I'm also looking forward to hearing updates from everyone who has been building, experimenting, and pushing their projects forward. And for those of us who missed connecting at Empower (especially Kiera and Stephen) I can't wait to catch up and hear what you've been working on. And there's even more to look forward to this summer! I'm starting to line things up for a Jinja learning series in July and August, helping everyone build new skills before we wrap up the summer with a fun Jinja Scavenger Hunt around the Seaport. It's shaping up to be a great few months of learning, building, sharing, and connecting. Whether you're launching something new, refining an existing project, or just looking for inspiration, there's a place for you in the conversation. See you on June 17th!2likes1CommentBoston Qrew is headed to Houston Empower26, and we’re bringing serious energy with us
We’ve got more than a dozen members making the trip this year, which says a lot about the momentum building in our community. Boston has always been a city of builders, problem-solvers, and people who know how to turn ideas into action, and that spirit shows up every time our Qrew gets together. Empower is one of the best chances all year to connect with other innovators, swap ideas, learn from real-world success stories, and come back with fresh ways to create impact. For our group, it’s also a chance to represent the Boston community, strengthen relationships, and meet fellow Quickbase users from across the country. What makes this especially exciting is that our Qrew continues to grow. New faces, returning members, different industries, different perspectives, all united by a shared drive to improve how work gets done. Seeing so many people investing their time to attend speaks volumes about the value of this community. Houston, get ready for a little Boston flavor. If you see our crew around Empower, come say hello, share what you’re building, and connect with us. We’re excited to learn, collaborate, and bring new ideas back home. Boston Qrew is showing up strong, and we’re just getting started.1like2CommentsDecember Meeting Cancelled… Because You’re All Busy Being Amazing
From Tammie: Hi Qrew, I have been hearing from a few people that there are conflicts with our meeting next week, and it is a busy week for many, so I am going to cancel our monthly meeting. Our next meeting will be held on January 21st. Before we all disappear into holiday food comas and temporarily forget what day it is, I wanted to say how grateful I am for this group. Our meetings have been welcoming, encouraging, and genuinely enjoyable. I love how everyone shows up with ideas, patience, and a willingness to help each other get better at what we do. I appreciate it more than you know. Whether we were troubleshooting something unexpected, sharing a brilliant shortcut, or convincing each other that yes, we can get this to work… you made it fun. And honestly, anyone who can make debugging feel like a team sport deserves an award or at least an extra cookie. I am really looking forward to next year, more building, more learning, more “wait… does that actually work?” moments, and more chances to get to know each other and find those times where everything just clicks and we all smile about it. (Or would that be “Qlix”?) Wishing you a warm, happy, and peaceful holiday season. I cannot wait to hear about the memories you made. Bonus points for stories that involve glitter, unexpected travel, or someone insisting a recipe is “very simple” and then handing you fourteen steps. See you on the flipside of the calendar, Tammie1like2CommentsBoston Qrew Meetup - August 20, 2025
