1.What is one piece of professional/workplace advice that you are most grateful to have received
I was advised to routinize and automate the things about my job that I liked the least and spend that extra time throwing myself into the parts of my job I liked the most (and were normally the most challenging).
2. What is one Quick Base feature that you are grateful for and what did it change for you?
Automations, without a doubt. It seems like with Quick Base I took a bunch of 10 minute tasks and made them 2 minute tasks. When automations came along I made a bunch of those 2 minute tasks effortless by completing them with automations.
3. In the last year what is a challenge that you tackled that helped grow your skills and pushed you out of your comfort zone? How did it push your skills to grow?
I went into a role that was client focused and instruction-based. Those were things I hadn't done much of previously and it was a great chance for me to really lean in and stretch those skills.
4. What is one time saving trick you have picked up this year that has proven itself to be a blessing?
Working a lot more with Magic Buttons. Spending more time building out buttons that prepopulate forms to make my end user's lives easier and save A LOT of time.
