As you might expect, the Grandparent table is in a one-many relationship with the Parent table, and the Parent table is in a one-many relationship with the Child table. As an added complication, the Grandparent table is in its own one-many relationship with the Child table. I have a Report Link on the Parent form that I'm using as an embedded report. The behavior I want is to have that embedded report show child records both from the Parent and from that Parent's Grandparent. I do not want to show records from any other Parents under that same Grandparent. Is this possible? I've been tinkering with formula fields as the Report Link targets, but I haven't been able to figure out a way to do it. ------------------------------ Thanks in advance, Alex ------------------------------ Set manual scale for Line GraphsHi, We have a line graph that we sometimes apply different filters to. This results in the scale on the Y axis automatically adjusting, as in the images below. Unfortunately, this makes such charts difficult to visually compare. Is there a way to force a consistent scale (in the below example, perhaps 0-150) on a Line chart report's Y axis? ------------------------------ Thanks, Alex ------------------------------Re: Automatically clear file attachment field?Thank you everyone for your help. I was able to use this advice to create a pipeline with an API call that does what I want. I chose a pipeline because I wanted a branching IF condition, but I assume a webhook would have also done the trick. ------------------------------ Thanks, Alex ------------------------------ Automatically clear file attachment field?Hi, I'm attempting to automatically clear the file from a file attachment field. I've tried using actions, automations, and pipelines and I haven't been able to figure out a way to do this. Is there a way? ------------------------------ Thanks, Alex ------------------------------ Re: Tech Issue? blank rectangle on right of screenWe're having this issue too on our realm. If anyone is having trouble accessing support because the link is blocked, just append the following to your realm's url (after the ".quickbase.com"): /qb/support/ListCases ------------------------------ Thanks, Alex ------------------------------ Re: Embedded report of child records for parents across many-many relationshipThat makes a lot of sense, thank you. It's not ideal that the users have to click a button to see the report, but it's not a huge deal. ------------------------------ Thanks, Alex ------------------------------ Embedded report of child records for parents across many-many relationship Hi, I have three tables: Buildings, Opportunities, and Orders. Opportunities are a parent table to Orders - each Opportunity has many Orders Opportunities and Buildings are connected in a many-many relationship through a join table Buildings and Orders are not directly connected at all What I want is an embedded report on my Buildings form that shows all Orders that are under Opportunities that Building is connected to. Is this possible? I've been trying to figure this out for a while, and I can't wrap my head around it. Thank you in advance. ------------------------------ Alex ------------------------------ Kanban 100 card limit?Hi, The January release notes say that they raised the card limit for Kanban reports to 100 cards from 50. My kanban reports are still only showing 50 cards. Do I need to do something to access this upgrade? ThanksRe: Get around delete permissions with API call? Thanks Mark, that makes sense. In my case I'll use a checkbox to trigger the automation I think. ------------------------------ Thanks, Alex ------------------------------ Re: Get around delete permissions with API call?Hi Sharon, I think that's a good idea, but I'm not actually worried about extraneous deletions in this specific case, because the table in question is just a join table. If something gets deleted, no information will be actually lost. Still, thanks for the suggestion! Alex ------------------------------ Thanks, Alex ------------------------------
