In my search records step, I was using the "Record Update" for the field, not the Search Records" Thanks for your help. Re: Error listing for Pipelines? I've now attempted to add a additional parameter for it to search for that is again in both records, and it finds Neither, so kicks back and tells me there is no record. At least previously it found the record, but he upsert failed. Re: Error listing for Pipelines? The upsert is set to look for a Key Field that is unique to each record, and when the initial record is created, it uses a pipeline to create that record in another App. The problem is, when the Other app version of the record is updated, even when searching for the identical Key Field, it is not finding it, even though I have just created it using the other app. I tried to screenshot these but the post wouldn't let me add them. Updating table 10207 - Kroger - 6800-100 - 11-16B - 872 Original Source Table 10207 - Kroger - 6800-100 - 11-16B - 872 As you see, the fields match, so why would it not find it? Error listing for Pipelines? Is there any kind of troubleshooting/listing somewhere of Common issues with Pipelines. I have Literally copied a working Pipeline line by line, instruction by instruction, and the one I am working on keeps getting an error. What I have noticed is for some reason the "Commit Upsert" runs twice, which i don't believe it ever used to if I look at older runs similar to this one. It is very frustrating with Pipelines to build an exact copy a functioning pipeline, only difference is a different app, and the copy will not function. I've added a screenshot of the error i'm getting. If anyone can either help me or guide me to a answer, I would appreciate it. Re: Pipeline Error trying to Create a Record I will open a support case this morning. Pipeline Error trying to Create a Record I am not a fan of Pipelines. I miss Automations. I used to be able to build an Automation in like 30 min and it did what I wanted. I've been working two days to build this Pipeline, even using the AI to do the framework, and I get nothing but errors or issues like this one. The intent of this pipeline is, if a record is created/updated in one app, it will look to see if there is a matching record in another app. If there is a matching record in the other app based on a site # & uniquely created identifier, it will update any modified changes in the second app. If there is not a matching record, it will create one in the second app. After tweaking several different things, I finally got it to create the record. At first, it was saying it was finding a record that matched the criteria despite no record being present. But now, whenever it does the search for a "Matching Record" based on the criteria I asked it to look at (site & unique identifier), it continues to have a FALSE finding and just creates a duplicate instead of updating. And the Activity log seems to say that it couldn't find the record based on the search criteria but created duplicate records with the exact criteria it was asked to look for. (I now have 5 records with identical site #s and unique #'s. What am I missing to get it to have a TRUE finding of the record. Also, is there any way to change the "Query" to look at anything besides the Record ID?? Re: Quickbase Actions "Actions are being phased out in June (much to our dismay)" Has this been announced? I have heard nothing about Actions going away? Organizing personal reports Within any table in any app, there is a link right on top for "Reports & Charts" for that particular table. And as soon as you click it, the first potential two sections are Recently used reports, and Mine, reports I've created. Then all the common or other group reports after that Above the list of reports is a New & Organize button to either make a new report, or organize your existing reports. Why does the Organize only allow you to update the "Common" reports, or a separate group of reports, but not your personal ones under the Mine section. The Mine section is alphabetical, and will not let you change it. It doesn't make sense that you can change the order in every other report group header but your personal one. Am I missing something? Re: Pipelines - Functional or Not Thank You So Much. I just tested this and it worked. Now I can do ones for the imports and not have to do them manually every day. ------------------------------ Les Kimbler ------------------------------ Pipelines - Functional or Not Quickbase has always advertised itself as a Low-Code/No Code system. But with Pipelines, it seems that you have to be able to code to get it to do anything you want it to do. I loved Automations. I could build a pretty complicated one in like 5 minutes to do what I need it to do. After months of trying, and even trying to duplicate Migrated Automations, I have yet to successfully build a working functional Pipeline. On top of that, The migration tool does not always work with the Automations. I have multiple ones I have tried to migrate, and the tool fails everytime. So I literally have multiple jobs that the automations did every morning that I am having to physically do manually because I can't make a pipeline do it. And come to find out searching through this community, the migration tool was not set to correctly migrate Table to Table imports, so that has become another manual process. If someone has any options of how to create a pipeline to run a Table to Table import on a daily basis, that is not impossible to build, please help. ------------------------------ Les Kimbler ------------------------------
