What is the role? Michaels Energy is seeking a Quickbase Developer to support energy efficiency programs. This position will develop, implement and maintain our Quickbase software applications and web technologies that are utilized by both internal employees and external clients and customers. The Quickbase Developer will collaborate across many departments to create efficient and user-friendly applications. Hi Aaron, The use case is that EOTI can click a link on a public-facing website that will allow them to create a new record on a table. It's similar to the long-standing solution of allowing contacts to update their information without a login using the GenAddRecord API (Kirk Trachy's, maybe?). So they cannot View or Edit any records. Everything has to happen in one shot because as soon as they navigate away from the page the record is saved ("submitted").New Forms - Editable Embedded Report
Hello, Does anyone know if they've released similar functionality to the legacy forms that allows editing embedded reports? We have a new form that needs a child relationship to capture n-records. The problem is that this record creation is available to EOTI and they should only be able to Add Records, not View or Edit. In other words, if they navigate away from the record they're creating (parent) to create a child they'll never be able to get back!Re: Button Bar Widget - Page - open as popup, then close when button selected
Hi Aaron, This is a limitation of Home Page buttons in QB. The closest you can get as a workaround is to use a Rich Text element in your Home Page and add and image of a 'button'. Then, you can link that image to the code page you created with the target set to 'New Window.' ------------------------------ Chris Wheatley ------------------------------
