Couple of questions that would be helpful for me to understand this better: How would your script know what is missing in each app (unless all your apps are the same)? For example does your app not have any of the tables so you'd like to just bring in all of the Gantt model as 1 model -- or do you havesome of the schema in your app and need to somehow identify and add the deltas? We are planning some functionality to add missing fields via the dropdowns, perhaps an easy button for an entire table (+any underlying relationships) would go a long way? ------------------------------ Charlie Murawski ------------------------------ Re: Utilizing a second form - optionsYou could create your safety audit form as another table and either relate it to your project table OR have a parallel set of fields in both tables and when an audit is completed (in your audits table), trigger a pipeline to push those values into your projects table. ------------------------------ Charlie Murawski ------------------------------ Re: table relationshipsYou're about 1/2 way there! Take your summary field you created and in that same relationship create a lookup field with it. Then you can create another summary field with the condition to only summarize where as of date = maximum as of date lookup. I hope that makes sense! ------------------------------ Charlie Murawski ------------------------------ Re: table relationshipsThis option in the form rule "when" dropdown: ------------------------------ Charlie Murawski ------------------------------ Re: table relationshipsIn your form rule try using "When the record is saved". ------------------------------ Charlie Murawski ------------------------------ Re: Using APIs to call SalesforceNot possible with native webhooks then since you have no way of handling the response from who you fired the webhook to. You can do this with pipelines though. ------------------------------ Charlie Murawski ------------------------------ Re: table relationshipsIf I'm understanding correctly, you should be able to achieve this by doing a couple of things: 1. Create another field in your table that will be your key field (a data entry field, not a formula) 2. Copy the value of your formula field into this new field for every record - Not sure how much data you have but if small you could do this in grid edit, if you have a lot of data just dump the table out with RID, and import your formula key column into the data entry field 3. change your key to the non formula field 4. On a moving forward basis set up a form rule in that table that on save, copies the value from your formula field to the key field ------------------------------ Charlie Murawski ------------------------------ Re: Using APIs to call SalesforceAre you using pipelines? This should be totally dooable using the webhook channel in pipelines which will allow you to use data returned from a previous step to subsequent steps. ------------------------------ Charlie Murawski ------------------------------ Re: Subtracting units from one Table based on entry into another TableAssuming you have a relationship between Inventory and Orders (Inventory->Orders) -- my suggestion would be to make a summary field between orders and Inventory, summing the quantity ordered field from orders to your inventory table. https://help.quickbase.com/user-assistance/create_summary_field.html That way, for each item you'll have an auto-calculating number that shows how much of each item has been ordered. I would then suggest to create a field in your inventory table (or leverage your existing field) to be called "Starting Inventory". Then you could just make a simple numeric formula in Inventory called "On Hand" which would be [starting inventory] - [total quantity ordered]. ------------------------------ Charlie Murawski ------------------------------ Re: Limit child record status with a checkboxYou'd want to configure your summary as: "number of Contacts related to that vendor" and filter where primary contact = checked ------------------------------ Charlie Murawski ------------------------------
