This way sounds sort of brute force, but I think it would work.Re: Summarize data by month for date rangeYep. Ironically it was much easier for me when the PMs were forced to estimate effort by month instead of for the entire project in one go. Easier for me, but apparently too hard for them. I am now trying to figure out if I can automate creating monthly effort related records using QB Actions or Automations - and then add/edit/delete effort records if the start or end date changes. Ugh. My head hurts. ;)Summarize data by month for date rangeI have an application that lists projects and the effort required for each. I would like to create a chart that summarizes the total of all effort by month using the start and end dates of the projects. It sounds simple, but I can't figure out how to do it. Only the timeline report seems able to show multiple projects across months using start and finish dates. I can't use that to summarize the total effort by month, though. Is there some way to do this that I am missing? Thanks! Re: curuser marker in webhook using API_ImportFromCSVYes, 'new.Last Modified By' is how I handle this in other cases. Sadly, if the record is deleted there doesn't appear to be a value in that field so the value that gets captured is blank/null.curuser marker in webhook using API_ImportFromCSVI have a webhook using API_ImportFromCSV that populates fields in an audit log table triggered by the deletion of one or more records in the main table. It works great, except for one problem. I am trying to capture the name of the user that deleted the records. When using a field I can add the '.csv' suffix to properly format the data. I don't know how to do this with a marker, like curuser. Thus, I get the user's name followed by the extra characters I would get with a field were I had forgotten to add the '.csv' suffix. What is the proper way to grab the name of the user that performed the delete?Re: Code page with highcharts graph displaying blankAh! Embarrassing. I need to get my eyes checked. :) Yea, Notepad++ is my go-to editor. It was such a small script that I thought I could get away with just using the page editor. Thanks again for your help! You are an invaluable asset to this community.Re: Code page with highcharts graph displaying blankYep, that works. Maybe my spellchecker converted ', into ; in a couple of places? I don't see any other issues when I eyeball compare the two versions. I need to start using a code editor instead of doing this in the browser. :) Thanks!Code page with highcharts graph displaying blankI am dipping my toe into using Highcharts graphs and have hit a wall. I should first say that I am a novice, so don't assume much of anything regarding my skill level! I created a code page (test.html) with a basic sample bar chart that doesn't pull from QuickBase - the data is in the code. I got something similar working using charts.js but when I tried Highcharts it just displays a blank page. I would be grateful if someone could A) explain what I am doing wrong and/or B) point me to a tutorial on using highcharts in QuickBase. Thanks! The code is: <script src="https://code.highcharts.com/highcharts.js"></script> <script src="https://code.highcharts.com/modules/exporting.js"></script> <div id="container" style="width:100%; height:400px;"></div> <script type='text/javascript'> Highcharts.chart('container', { chart: { type: 'bar' }, title: { text: 'Fruit Consumption' }, xAxis: { categories: ['Apples', 'Bananas', 'Oranges'] }, yAxis: { title: { text: 'Fruit eaten' } }, series: [{ name: 'Jane', data: [1, 0, 4] }, { name: 'John', data: [5, 7, 3] }] }); }) </script> Look up owner of the current record in a users table I have two tables - People and Time. When a user creates a record in the Time table I want QuickBase to look up that user's team from the People table. I have tried using the Record Owner field in the Time table to find the matching QBID field in the People table, but have so far failed. Any suggestions? Re: Using a field to redirect records to a custom form?My implementation of this doesn't appear to be populating the phase variable. The only changes I made were to... * add my dbid * change the clist field number to match my app * change the fids to match my app Any ideas?
