Much has changed since then (even how we spell "Quickbase") but Empower is still Empower: the best place to connect with others who use and love Quickbase. Today we hear from Qrew Captain Dwight Munson, aka DwightMunson1. Dwight Munson, Database Developer, Sigma Technologies, Ltd. What are you most excited about for Empower this year? (e.g., sessions, speakers, networking, product updates, etc.)While I'm not attending in person this year, I'm excited to see the product direction, especially how Quickbase is evolving with the Juiced Technologies and Solvice acquisitions. Last year, hearing directly from the product team, interacting with them, and seeing where the platform was heading was one of the most interesting parts of the event. What challenges or goals are you hoping to focus on while you’re there? This year, in general, besides continuing to push mo

The Quickbase Junkie has her reasons. Can you believe that Quickbasehas been hosting Empower since 2015?! Much has changed since then (even how we spell "Quickbase") but Empower is still Empower: the best place to connect with others who use and love Quickbase. Today we hear from Sharon Faust, Qrew Legend, also known as the QuickBaseJunkie! Sharon Faust, the eponymous Quickbase JunkieWhat are the top 2–3 “can’t miss” experiences for first-time Empower attendees? Firstly don't skip the opening keynote presentation. It may be tempting to focus on just the sessions... DON'T. The product keynote is the best way to get the Cliff Notes version of new product features, the roadmap, and many little nuggets of information that may influence your plans for the event and beyond. Between sessions there are demo booths, product labs, and support staff where you can talk one-on-one with Quickbase Product Managers and Customer Support. This face time is sooooo va

Empower is really has a great vibe. What challenges or goals are you hoping to focus on while you’re there? Hey Qrew 👋 Ben here. And if you’ve been anywhere near Quickbase today, you’ve probably felt it. Something big just dropped. Yep… Pave is here. Now, I’ve read all the announcements, sat in on the conversations, and I know there’s some buzz across our passionate community, so I want to break this down the way we do best here in the Qrew: 👉 What is Pave 👉 Why Pave matters 👉 Why The Qrew should care So… what is Pave? Let’s skip all the fancy buzzwords for a second. At its core, Pave is a full-stack AI app builder, but not the kind that gets you halfway there and leaves you duct-taping tools together at 2am. This is the difference: A lot of platforms get you from idea to prototype Pave gets you from idea to real, scalable, production-ready app We’re talking: Built-in structure Governance baked in (hello, Quickbase governance, how do you do?) Ready for actual business use, not just demos that wow your boss for five minutes Or put another way… This isn’t just

If you’ve ever been scanning your data, noticed something that needs a quick fix, and felt thrown off when you had to shift into a completely different interface to make the change, you are not alone. That switch costs you context. You lose your place, break your flow, and have to reorient in a new UI just to make a small change, then come back and find where you left off. Grid reports are designed to directly address this problem by providing one, unified way to view and update data directly in line without breaking your flow. They also feature many more spreadsheet-like interactions that will feel familiar to users coming from a background in Excel. Since launching to Open beta in October, we’ve been focused on two things: Listening closely to what’s working (and what isn’t) Shipping a steady stream of feature enhancements and bug fixes Here’s where things stand today - what we’re learning, what we’ve improved since launch, and what’s coming next. What we’ve learned since October

On February 19th, the Quickbase Leadership team of Chief Product Officer Marcus Torres, Chief Marketing Officer Alys Reynders, Chief Customer Officer Kelly Hall, and Chief Revenue Officer Josh Allen met with me and answered a series of questions from The Qrew. We ran out of time to get to every question during the session, so we're following up here to share answers to those unanswered questions. Questions for Josh Allen Quickbase Chief Revenue Officer Josh Allen Q: How does Quickbase’s growth plan include partners? A: We are working with a third party to surface our best option for a partner/reseller strategy going forward. Given how much the landscape has changed in technology, and how our product offerings will be changing in 2026 and beyond, our partner strategy will have to change to support it. We are taking our time so that we do it correctly. Q: If we buy the Core Extensions and we surpass the transaction limit, do we have to buy anoth

One of the toughest challenges in workflow automation, and in Pipelines specifically, has always been handling large volumes of data reliably. Imagine a Quickbase table where hundreds or thousands of records change at once through grid edits, CSV imports, system syncs, or mass updates. And what happens when those bulk changes need to drive further actions—creating or updating records, transforming the data, and mapping it before it moves on? Traditionally, each new or changed record would fire off its own pipeline execution, resulting in thousands of pipelines all running simultaneously. As builders try to cover more scenarios and potential fail cases, pipelines' logic and structure often become more complex. When run in parallel, pipelines can compete for shared compute resources or interfere with each other’s logic, leading to delays, temporary throttling, or incomplete runs. To streamline the trigger part of the process, Quickbase Pipelines introduced the Bulk Trigger. Currentl
Click image to enlarge We’ve just rolled out another improvement to our Support Case Management system, this time focused on making life easier for our customers. You can now add Case Watchers in the Support Portal. Watchers receive no-reply email notifications whenever a case is updated, whether that is via Email or Portal Post. Why this matters: ✅ Great for Realm and Account Admins who want lifecycle visibility without being CC’d on every thread ✅ Enables executive awareness on high-profile or sensitive cases ✅ Clean, structured notification including case ID, subject, who updated it, and the update content ✅ Sent from our no-reply mailbox to keep communication intentional and clutter-free Click image to enlarge We're proud to be delivering something customers have explicitly asked for. A watcher can be added to a case initially, at the time you create your request, but also later - from the case layout. The updates are much clear
