Quickbase Email IP Address Range Migration
The sending IP address ranges for Quickbase notification emails will be rotating from the IPs currently in use, to a new set of IP address ranges. This is being done in order to enhance security and resiliency as well as to improve sending IP reputation management services. These changes should increase deliverability of notification emails from Quickbase. Quickbase keeps an up-to-date Sender Policy Framework (SPF) record for all email servers used to send email from our platform. If you use SPF, you can adhere to your organization's spam filtering policy without having to allowlist the IP addresses of approved senders. Important: SPF is our recommended and supported method for spam filtering. Since the IP address ranges of email servers can change without notice, customers should NOT allowlist IP addresses as a first step in allowing Quickbase emails to be received. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sender_Policy_Framework for more information on SPF. If your organization does allowlist email IP addresses, you should plan to implement SPF as soon as possible. Please see further details on IP allowlisting and Quickbase Email Deliverability Solutions for Spam Filtering in the article linked here. If you DO choose to allowlist IP addresses, here is the CURRENT range used by the Quickbase Platform: 156.70.3.202 156.70.3.203 156.70.3.204 156.70.3.205 156.70.3.206 156.70.3.207 156.70.3.208 199.15.225.8 199.15.225.9 199.15.225.10 If you have any questions regarding the information above, please do not hesitate to reach out to the Quickbase Technical Support Team by opening a support case.121Views0likes0CommentsEmail notifications based on formula updates?
Hello, I have a parent table called projects and a field called "status." The status field updates based on if the project is on track and can change from on-time to late. I want to generate an e-mail notification when the formula field changes the status to late. Is that possible? I've tried to use the modified action but it only seems to work when someone manually changes the field vs a formula handling it.71Views0likes1CommentEmail notifications from internal
I am trying to set up custom email notifications that send from the user who is adding a new record. The problem I'm having is that no matter what I try, the from is not sending from our internal email, it's sending from notify@quickbase.com. Is there any way that we can set it to send from our internal email address? Our company has some pretty strict and sometimes unpredictable firewalls and flags and I'm nervous that these notifications are going to get lost. The notifications I have set up already are on Pipelines, but they only send from my email address. Our new app project would be better sent from the user who made the change which is why we're trying to figure out other solutions.53Views0likes2Comments
