Purge data after import

We are using a staging table to verify parts of the dataset before importing into the production table.  Is there a way to purge the data after it has been imported into the production table.

    Yes, it is possible to make make a URL formula button to run a saved table to table import and then purge the source table and then land the user somewhere.   Is that what you want?  Do you have any familiarity with formula URL buttons?

      Yes, I am familiar with formula URL  buttons.  The current process is being handled with an HTML page I should be able to call the function within the page.  Thank you for providing a good starting point.  I may have more questions later.
