Conditional Dropdown on Connected Table

I know there are multiple workarounds for this - but just wanted to know if there is a way to do any sort of conditional dropdowns between two QuickBase Connected Tables.

I have a table report in App 1 that I wish to bring over some fields into App 2 that meet the exact filtering requirements of the report in App 1. However, the filtering requirements have many conditional subsets that I need to account for.

    Thanks,

    Niraj

If you just want to import a subset of the records from one table into another and the filtering is complex, you can make a formula checkbox field to flag records which qualify to be Sync'd across.

    Hi Niraj,

I would agree with Mark that one of the more accessible ways to do this is to build out a formula that mimics the filters you want to use for your records. That way when you go to filter your Sync table you are pointing to a single field that has all the logic you already need (Which can also make it easier if that filtering criteria needs to change later since you can go right back to that field). You would just say if Include In Sync formula field is equal to checked then sync over records.

Thanks, Evan - that's exactly what I ended up doing.
