I have a search bar widget on my home page in the format of select what you want to search on and then search:
    search form

I have it set to fields I choose. Is there anyway to change what report the user searches on without using the "report" options. I want allow them to search on the three fields selected in the first image, but when I test this I am taken to a report that does not have one or more of those fields present. Example: if I search for my name in Submitter, a report will come up with "Submitter contains 'Jennifer'" but the Submitter field is not in that report. Edit: There is also a field I want to allow users to search on that is not in the "fields I choose" list. How could I add fields to this list?

Please let me know if this does not make sense! Thanks!

If there is only one record that matches the Search then it will take you to that specific record.  If there is more than one answer, then it opens the Default report for that table.

Here is a screen shot from the Table Settings where you can change that report.
