  • 1.  Can I have a CheckBox be clickable in a report view? (Without having to use grid edit).

I just want to know if it is at all possible to display a checkbox in a report and have it be clickable, without having to use grid edit. Pretty new to quickbase still and not sure if this is even possible.
    Thanks!

    With the native functionality, no.

But there are a few different work around techniques to have the same affect.

    Thank you,

If I'm not mistaken, this would reload the page after each click?

Correct, It just depends on what you want it to do.  Reload, or redirect somewhere else, or do nothing.  If you want to fly through the list, then grid edit is best.

it is possible to have a button to click which would check the box.

The button could be configured to either refresh the page or if you prefer, not refresh the page, but just put up a quiet fade away pop up message.

What you are asking for is called a Formport - part Form part Report:

Pastie Database ~ How To Process Selected Records?

Again FormPort was one of my proposed Empower 2017 presentations topics but I was denied.
