Creating a form with tabbed sections in the middle, but a non tabbed section beneath it.

I'm not sure if this is an easy thing I am just forgetting, but I want to have a two tabbed section in the middle of my form (vertically), and have a section beneath them with status and such that displays regardless of tab choice. Is this possible?

    Common fields can only appear before the first tab.

      I would think this would be a good feature request for the future, because I have several use cases where it'd be helpful.
