You can do this by editing the form field by selecting "Properties" Change the Default Record Picker value (or whatever value you have in "When used for data Entry:") to a Report, such as List All. Click "Change Settings" and under Sorting and Grouping select the "Sort or group on other fields" Choose what field to sort on. I make a use a numeric field I created specifically to sort in numbered order to keep my sort specific to my needs.
