You can use an Access rule on the Table. It is also based on the Role that User has. Here is as screen shot showing it for the Participant Role on a table

If you click Custom Rule, you can build a complex business case.
I also suggest you take Delete away from all Roles when you create a Table. Bad things happen when data is deleted .......

I have a table called Intake table which is updated through a form. The submitter has to enter the user that is responsible of that task and then that user should fill in the "Action" column. How can I restrict this access for every record that comes into the form automatically?
