New Role's Home Page gets Access Needed when testing

I have created a new Role.  This Role will have its own Home Page.  Initially, this Home Page has a single report (more to be added later). The report, when I display it, shows exactly what I want....

When you test as role and click on the HOME icon to go to the HOME page, what happens?

    This morning it is working?

    Rather, yes it is working as expected but don't know what I was doing incorrectly before.

    The solution was updated as I wanted also :)

    Mark, I was totally overthinking how to do what I wanted.  What I'm doing now is much easier and works nicely but uses the report we'd worked on.

      If you are sitting on an admin type page like setting permissions, and change Roles using Test as Role,  then it will say that you are not allowed to be on that Permission setting page.  So just click HOME and you will get that Role's home page.
