September Pipelines Qrew Meet Up Recap

Hello Pipelines Qrew!

Thank you to all who were able to attend the September Pipelines Qrew Meet Up. Here’s a recap of what happened:

  1. Aksharada Acharya and Savin Kumar, Quickbase Developers from Accenture, shared two Jinja use cases: an “If” triggered conditions that sent notifications via pipelines with old and new values shown, and how a for-loop Jinja code increased the efficiency of processing and mapping child records to parent records via Pipelines.

  2. Jinja can seem very intimidating at first, but my biggest takeaway from the use case is that the payoff to learn Jinja coding language is worth the results. The best part of the meeting was seeing customers sharing resources, tips, and their experience with Jinja.

  3. Here is a list of resources that were shared that you can review and get started on.

Thank you to the Accenture team, Sean Boat-Moore, Mark Shnier, and Ben Simon for sharing these resources to the group.

Want to see the 2 Jinja examples again? Here’s a copy of the recording and password: ?32Sr!sI

As a reminder for October 2024: Ben Simon, Sr, Community Engagement Manager, will be hosting a special Pipelines Qrew Meet Up on Friday 10/18 at 2pm EST at Empower Pro. We will not be meeting in October at our normal cadence in favor of the Empower Pro session. Be sure to register and check out the agenda for the week.

With the holidays coming up in November and December, I will be moving our Pipeline Meet Ups to the 2nd Wednesday of the month starting in November. More details will come out soon after confirming our future agenda and speakers.
