URLRoot() & "db/" & dbid() & & "?a=dr&rid=" & [Record ID#]
Remember to provide some link text like VIEW And then I suggest you might want to make it display as a button and choose a nice color.

In case it may be helpful to someone else: To link to a form I used a different line of script, copy/pasted below.
URLRoot()&"db/"&Dbid()&"?a=dr&rid="&ToText([Record ID#])&"&dfid=10"
