Adding records to a look-up table source is in a related table

I have a "contacts" table that I am using to update "Requesting Client" on Work Order system.

If that client in not in the existing table, I would like a convenient method of adding (from the open Work Order).  What am I doing wrong?  There must be a way open update record if there is no match?.

I originally had an old desktop version in MS Access.  Just putting finishing touches on this upgrade (and am very pleased).

    Assuming that you have permission to add contacts and customers, which you must have because you are the admin, then typically the very last choice on the drop line down list is to Add New Contact.
