API call through form rule

Is it possible to invoke API call through form rule?

We d'ont want the users to accidentally click on the button twice which'll result in record duplication in the other app.

Any help appreciated.
Thanks.
  • You can trigger an ACTION (a new feature that just came in this weekend) when the record is saved.  ACTIONS currently allow a record to be created, if that is what you are doing.  You can also trigger a webhook which can do any API, but those are more technical to set up.
  • Quickbase actions are easy to setup. Thanks guys!

Once the action has been setup, if we need to re-check what fields were added, the existing action doesn't show the fields. Is there a way to check what fields were added/modified for an existing action?

  • The action is saved Mark.

The saved action shows all the settings except for the last part where the fields for the destination table is not shown.
Since its a new feature might be its a bug in quickbase...
  • I guess put in a support ticket then .....they are supposed to show. It's not supposed to be a guessing game. And how can you edit them if they don't show.
