API from Users table

The roles in Quickbase that we have set up don't allow our users to see the Users table to see if the user is registered or not by the status field. Since this is a pre-existing table it doesn't seem possible to create a relationship between the Users table and our Employees table. Is there a Query that I could use to get the status of an employee to distinguish if they are Registered, Unregistered, Unverified, Deactivated, or Denied in another table?
