Autofill default when adding additional fields

When adding additional fields to a table, the    advanced < autofill<    defaults to being checked for "copy the value when using "copy this XXX" to add another XXX".  Is there a way to set this default to unchecked? Also, is there a way to grid edit the current fields, or mass update the current fields to turn this off?
