Automation no longer runs when multiple records are updated

I have several automations that add new records to ancillary apps. To trigger these automations, we must update a specific field in the source table. Previously, we were able to update multiple records using the grid edit function and the automation would run. However, now it will only run if we update a single record at a time. We have not altered the structure of our apps or the automations themselves. Any idea what the issue could be?
