Automation Timing Question

If I have an automation set to trigger when a checkbox is checked, does the automation run before or after the record is saved?

    I used a when record is saved form rule to verify, the automation fires after the record is saved.

      Dynamic Form Rules Fire before the Record has saved. Automations Fire after the Record has saved.
