'Best' Quick Base ruby gem...

Every once in a while I start to question the ruby gem which I am using for some quickbase integrations. Years ago I first started using quickbase_client gem, https://github.com/garethlatwork/quickbase_client . quickbase_client was good. It had a ton of functionality, but it slowly appeared to not be maintained and overkill for data integration work.

I have since moved onto the more barebones quickbase gem, https://github.com/kalinchuk/quickbase ....but day by day i find myself more and more rolling my own functions.

Has anyone had any luck with any other gems? Any gems which are in between the feature set of the two aforementioned gems?
