Button to start automation

I have a form where our sales guys are quoting pricing. Once the quote is completed and finalized I want a button that says "order" which then will take the quote form relevant information and start an automation that 1- turns the status on their quote page to "sold" or "ordered", but more importantly I want that button to send us relevant information off that quote to our other application that shows us all orders submitted. 

I imagine the best way to do that is with an automation that this button can then trigger? Is this possible? 
To make it better yet, I want them to click "order" and a clarifying question pops up almost as a confirmation- and then they click an option on this page that then in turn actually submits the order to us.

    Often it's so much easier to have the Quotes table be the same table as the Orders Table. Just a different Status. Are you sure you need to copy to a different App?

    it can be done, but if your Order has a Header Record  as well as Child Lines it more technical to set up and likely beyond the scope of this Forum to answer here.

      Im sorry. I have a different table right now for orders and a separate table for quotes. I misspoke- they aren't separate apps, just separate tables.

       

      The only thing I really need is 1- a quote table that is user specific (only dealers can see their related quotes and nobody elses) which is already done, and then 2- an orders table that only our office can see. Orders submit from our dealers shouldn't be visible to anybody else but us. Which again would be fairly easy- but I was thinking a separate table that only we had permission for. I just need a button on their end to push it to our orders table.

        Are you saying that each of your dealers has their own userid?  Is that how you are limiting access to only their own Quotes.
