Calendar Report from Two Tables

I have a tasks table and an appointments table. The tasks table obviously capturing tasks for a project. The appointments table is capturing meetings and "scheduled" physical activities (being on site for supervision for example)

I would like, on my projects table, to have a calendar report that is showing overlap of both tasks and appointments on the same calendar. 

How can I achieve that?  As they are child tables I can only pull summary records.
