Can an email be sent from Quick Base and the reply be sent to the same Quick Base record?

I send an email from Quick Base and need a response.  When the person replies I need their answer to be feed into the same Quick Base record I sent the question from. Is this possible?

    Here is an idea of how to do it using the latest in QB technology:



    1. Set up a gmail sync table. 
    2. Have a way to grab the originating record ID from the subject line ( use identifiers such as *1234*)
    3. Use record number in a web-hook to the originating table that copies the reply into your desired field, etc.


    Nothing I've ever done, and just a rough outline. But crazy enough it might work.
