can apps sync with outlook?
Can I create an app that syncs with Outlook in Office 365 in order to create a real-time employee directory?

As far as syncing your directory and contacts list, you would need a custom integration.
But, They are in the Beta version of email sync. I just set up an outlook email sync the other day.
Then whenever an email come in to QB, I attached it to the Client (move it to the client folder), and it keeps a good history of things relating to projects.
