Can Automation Copy Data to Multiple Tables

Does anyone know if it is possible to build an automation that copies records to two different tables based on the input of a specific field?

Ex. Field "Update" would be the determiner what table the record is copied to.

Record 1: Project 1     Total Revenue $400K    Update: March 2020      (Want this record to copy to Table "Monthly Pro-Formas")

Record 2: Project 1     Total Revenue $500K    Update: Milestone Meeting 2 (Want this record to copy to Table "Milestone Meetings")

  • s/b no problem,

When you got to build each ACTION of the Automation, you get to choose the app and table to copy to.  It does default to choose a tale from the the app you are already in, but that is just for convenience as that is more usual.

The issue that I am running into is that the record is copying onto both tables. I have also tried adding another field named "Milestone Meetings" and having that I listed under Additional Criteria- "Start Automation when a this field is changed or modified.

However, I  think the issue right now is this is the Parent Table (Budgets) only has one unique record for each project and each data upload replaces current data based off of project number.  Therefore both fields that trigger the automation are being modified.

From there we want this information uploaded to "Budgets" to copy onto either Pro-Forma table or Milestone Meeting Table based off of what is input in one field. Would there be a better path other than automations? Any suggestions? I may have to think through this one a bit more.

I think I misunderstood the question.

It seems to me that you can just have two Automations with different  triggers as to when they fire.
