Can you generate a barcode from a key field calculation

Has anyone come up with a native solution to generate a barcode that could be printed out to put on a piece of equipment for asset tracking. I have a key field calculation for the piece of equipment and want to turn that into a barcode

The next item is to embed in the barcode a url to a PM form for that piece of equipment. I have already played with a QR code generator, set the code as a url to a form. I can scan the code and it takes me to the form. But now I want to tie that all together.....always a challenge!

    When I try to get the barcode image, using   "<img src=" &[Barcode Link]& ">", for some reason part of the tag is left out, and I get a "bad request" message

      Please post the code for your formula as opposed to a screen shot.  Also the bar code would need to be a formula Rich Text field type, and not a text field type.
