Checkbox Link to Formula Field

I have a checkbox labeled "Tint Complete?" and a formula field labeled "VIN" which is a formula field with a relationship pulling the information from another table. I need to see if I can link the checkbox to this formula field so if the "VIN" is moved to another form the checkbox and the information in the box move with it. Attached is what the form looks like.
