Color options for Data Entry fields (not Rich Text)

Is there a way to change color or background of Field Names; or background of data entry fields? Trying to mimic 'dark mode' on Mobile App. Field users complaining of glare and contrast issues. Bes...

Great question.   You can do this for displaying a field by mapping it to Formula Rich Text field and playing with the HTML.

A true data field for entry is a different question.  I am looking forward to see if anybody else has an answer.
