Column query and resizing

In the attached link is a sample add-in for something else, written in HTML5 and JQuery, that allows a person to resize and query on a data column just like a spreadsheet.  Is there such a thing for QuickBase?  I have looked through the Apps folders and seen nothing, but maybe a QSP has created something?  Or is such a thing even possible in QB?

    As far as I know, with a native quickbase report, there is not a way to control field display width in an absolute or defined manner. There are probably hacky ways of doing it but you'd have to intercept and hijack the native quickbase style sheet, which is not recommended.

    I was able to manually apply this library to achieve the effect.

    See the screenshot where I am actively resizing the Phone column.

    However, I think you would have to hunt around for a better library or extnesion (there are dozens of these things) as there was some jerkiness to the process.

    Apparently you can do this using jQueryUI resizable method although there is not a demo of resizing a table on the jQueryUI page:

    QuickBase uses jQueryUI so there is no additional library to load. I spent like a minute on this so you would have to explore this option further.

    Here is a screenshot of me resizing the ContactTitle column after manually injecting a small amount of script.

    Danimal is the man.  Again this group comes through!!!  Jerkiness is not the problem, at least for now, it's the lack of controls like a spreadsheet when I want to view data.

    I will look into this.

    Get the sorting part and the package is complete!

    Thank you for the help here and with others questions, which I have found extremely useful as a new user to the process.

      I have no idea what most of the parameters do without investigating - I just borrowed from the codepen and changed the selector to target QuickBase's headers.
