 No there is not a way to convert a regular table to be a Connected Sync table.  An possible option might be to bring in your data to the app on a new Sync table, and them to have an Automation run to delete the records in your existing tables each day (if the record count is under 1,000)  and then to re-import each day from the Sync table.  But that assumes that there is no data entry into the old tables, ie these are fixed Master tables like the Customer Master or the Item Masters.
