Hello Evan, I attended the session in EMPOWER. I used the code given in the presentation resources, but somehow I am not able to connect my application with Power BI. I was wondering if there are any experts who can guide me to do the same.
- QuickBaseCoachD7 years agoQrew CaptainI would love that too!
- EvanMartinez7 years agoModeratorI am looking into more information and getting some more resources on the Quick Back to Power BI connection up and running. I don't know much beyond what was in the presentation myself but I'll see if I can't get anything more definitive since I know the Care Team won't have experience with this to help you out with debugging it. From memory of the presentation I do know there are some Security elements that also have to be in place besides the call, and that it does need to be tailored a bit to your apps specifics.

- EvanMartinez7 years agoModeratorThat is one of the resources I am reaching out to Raj. Do you get a specific error message when you are attempting to connect to Power BI with the call in Jacob's presentation? Do you also have all the security changes in place that he recommended for the process to work?
- MadanKumar17 years agoQrew MemberThe method proposed at Empower, as Jacob mentioned, is limited:
You can only access a single table report with a max of 66,000 records and it isn't "realtime". If you are looking to evaluate powerBI you could export an excel spreadsheet from Quick Base and load it in to powerBI.
We at CloudBase have been integrating Quick Base with BI systems for years. As solutions partners of both Power BI and Quick Base, we can help if your needs go beyond just loading a table report to powerBI. Feel free to contact us through our website.
