Connecting QuickBase to Access with ODBC

I'm having trouble connecting MS Access to QuickBase using ODBC. Whenever I attempt to add the connection, Access instantly crashes. Has anyone connected the two before, and if so are there any tips? I'm using Access 2016 and ODBC 64 bit.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

  • The only case that I've heard of this working successfully is through QuNect which is a paid connection, but it is an ODBC connection tailor made for QB.

QB's API library currently gives XML responses, with a pending JSON Library on the way, but I'm not sure if Access has the capabilities to link that way.

    Brandon,

We built a tool, Paasporter, that will Extract Quick Base data, index it and build a SQL Compliant DB.  Once you have that database you can connect to it with an standard development tool for any purpose that a developer can think of.   Reach out and I will set up a demo for you.
