Convert Date/Time Field to include Seconds

I have a date/time field that shows MM/DD/YY HH:MM, what I need is to also include the Seconds. I tried converting my date/time field into a formula field, using:  Second(ToTimeOfDay([Date Modified])). This works, however, it ONLY shows me the seconds. I have no way of verifying that the seconds being displayed are the correct numbers, and I want to display ALL of the date/time field, including the seconds. Anyone know of a way to do this? I am sure I am missing something simple.
Any response is appreciated!
  • I would like to jump on to the original post also.  I have Time Stamp data, DD-MM-YYYY HH:MM:SS, that I must keep the seconds on.  It would not be ideal to have to take the original, raw data and strip the date into a column and the time into a column since I have to graph this data with a complete time stamp - not ideal to have 2 columns referenced to create a single axis.

It appears that I will need to store the data in QuickBase, but export it to a data analysis program to graph as there are 10,000 elements per column I need to show, and then save the graph or any manipulated data.  We can somehow combine the data and time columns on export, but it seems easier to have it stored correctly in the first place.

    Thoughts?

If you can change it to a Time of Day field, you can then choose HH:MM:SS
