I see a few options that would work for this. One is to search and replace each and every tag you want removed. Depending on your exact rich text field and the contents this could be a great solution. If the contents like the tags can vary then this may not work great for you. Scroll down to the last post.

Were there any responses / solutions for this? I am having a similar issue. I have a "Rich Text" field in one application and I want to have an automation run to send the contents of that field to a "Text" field in another application; but the results are in HTML format and it is not user friendly.
