Date stamped when a checkbox is checked

Hi,

I need to be able to create a date stamped when an additional field is checked. This checkbox will be editing most likely in a grid edit report and I would like to be able to save date and time when this particular field is checked.

I tried to use the Quickbase action, even as administrator of my app I'm not able to create it editing an existing record.

Is there an other way to do it?
