Default Cursor Placement when editing a record

Question

It appears when you edit a record, that the cursor is defaulted to the first manual entry field. Does anyone know if this default can be changed?

I'd love it on a different field or even better, no field at all.

I think your observation is how it behaves. Never heard of a way to override that placement of the cursor.
