Default Value of Text field with formula notation included

Question

We have a text field, which includes logging of the changes, including Time Stamp and User that saved the record.

However, default value doesn't include these time sensitive values.

Ideally, am I able to add "Now() & User()" to "Active" for the default value?

I think that you would need to set up an Automation Action to fire when the record was created to update the record.&nbsp; It's possible that you may need to make a dummy report link field to map the record to itself to get that to work.
